Monday, 26 September 2011 10:20

The Season - HoustonDivision Leaders Emerge:

Houston Texans (23,788 average)
Tampa Bay Bucs (24,675 average)
Washington Redskins (22,014 average)
New England Patriots (20,528 average)
San Francisco 49ers (19,663 average)
Green Bay Packers (20,094 average)
Denver Broncos (19,595 average)
Pittsburgh Steelers (19,918 average)

All of these teams are undefeated and comfortably sitting on the top of their respective divisions. The Houston Texans fans and Tampa Bay Bucs fans are week in and week out showing that they are the best of the best. There continues to be contention on the Buzztime The Season facebook page in regards to the dominance of the Houston Texans fans. The Season, just like Football, is a team game, and the Houston Texans fans are showing that a lot of brains working together is better than a lot of brains working separately.

The Season - Miami"OOOOOH... So close!"

Miami Dolphins (15,975) - Cleveland Browns (15,358)

Houston Texans (20,940) - New Orleans Saints (19,976)

(17,432) - Cincinnati Bengals (17,256)

The battle of the brains in the bar between the Houston Texans fans and the New Orleans Saints fans was as close as the game on the field between those two teams this past Sunday. The Houston fans did what the Houston players could not do and that was stay undefeated. San Francisco needed only 176 points to beat Cincinnati and remain undefeated. Bengals fans have my sympathy for that gut wrenching loss. And in the battle of the winless doormats, it was the Miami Dolphin fans that edged out a victory against Cleveland Browns. San Francisco 49ers

Speaking of doormats...

Let me take this time to enourage the fans of the Cleveland Browns (0-3), Baltimore Ravens (0-3), Atlanta Falcons (0-3, yet to crach the 12,000 barrier), San Diego Chargers (0-3), Arizona Cardinals (0-3), New York Jets (0-3) and Buffalo Bills (0-3) to RECRUIT MORE PLAYERS. Extremely Tough Week 3:

In week 2 of The Season, 17 teams averaged over 20,000 points. In week 3 of The Season, only 5 teams averaged over 20,000 points. Either the questions were harder, the players were distracted by delicious food and company, or a little bit of both. Whatever the reason, the difficulty of the week is what lead to some extremely close games, and have set the table for some exciting match-ups for week 4.

The Season - PittsburghExciting Week 4 Games:

Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) vs. Houston Texans (3-0)

The Houston fans have been impressive, but were almost upset by New Orleans. Pittsburgh fans might have enough collective smarts to pull off the upset. It should also be noted that the people complaining about Houston on the Buzztime The Season facebook page are Pittsburgh Steelers fans. Let's get it on!

Denver Broncos (3-0) vs. Green Bay Packers (3-0)

It's the battle of the undefeated teams that are separated by only 500 points in their cumulative averages over the last three weeks. Wow. I think both of these teams should recruit some players this week to gain an advantage.

New England Patriots (3-0) vs. Oakland Raiders (2-1)

New England fans are undefeated, but Oakland Raiders fans are actually averaging more points (21,634) over the first 3 weeks of The Season. Should be a great game!

Until next time... Good luck and good fun!
