The Buzztime gurus think you need a vacation… and we want to give it to you!

Each guru will be holding a competition on Facebook and Twitter focusing on their particular area of expertise -- trivia, sports and cards -- and the lucky winner of each competition will be whisked off to enjoy a few days of R&R on us!

For our trivia fans, I will be giving away a trip to L.A. for the ultimate Twi-Hard Getaway. The lucky winner will receive airfare for 2 to L.A., 2 nights at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, tickets to see Eclipse on opening night, spending money and a Twilight prize pack.

Sarge, our Sports Guru, is going to hook up one lucky Sports Trivia fan with the opportunity to fly to San Diego to attend opening day at the Del Mar Racetrack, including airfare for 2 to San Diego, 2 nights at the Del Mar Hilton, VIP access to opening day at the racetrack, spending money and a prize pack.

And last, but certainly not least, Rags, our Cards Guru, will be testing your knowledge of poker trivia. And what does the lucky winner get? Well, I'll tell you: airfare for 2 to Las Vegas, 3 nights at Caesars Palace, an opportunity to watch the World Series of Poker at the Rio Hotel, spending money and a prize pack.

Pretty cool, huh?

I'm guessing that right about now, you're wondering how to get in on the action! It's quite simple really: just follow the gurus on Facebook and Twitter and participate in their weekly trivia contests. Each week, the player who wins the Twitter portion of the competition (we'll be warming you up on Facebook first) will advance to the finals. Each guru has chosen a specific day and time for their contests so they don't overlap... you can find all of the details and the schedule here.

Once the finalists have been chosen, they will be asked to go to a Buzztime location, log in and play a designated game. The finalist who achieves the highest score wins! See what I mean about simple?

There are a few rules (of course):

• You can participate in all 3 contests but can only qualify for one prize as a finalist.
• You can only be a weekly winner for the semifinals once: if you win twice, the person in second place will get a spot.
• You have to be a PlayersPlus member and you have to be following the guru hosting your particular contest.

Other than that, all you have to do is beat out the competition. Need some motivation? Just picture that baby pool abandoned in the backyard… yup, that should do the trick!
