Buzztime Gets Extreme with The XDL Championship Series Finals!

Around here, we tend to find ourselves involved in some really cool sponsorships. Whether VH1 is helping us celebrate the 80s, or the Transformers crew is hooking us up with signed swag, we get to be a part of some really cool promotions and events. This month, the XDL Championship Series helped us take Buzztime to the extreme with really great sports trivia... but that's not all they had up their sleeves!

On Thursday, August 26, we will be joining the XDL riders and crew at Jillian's in Indianapolis to help them kick off their Championship Series Finals weekend. From 6-9p.m. XDL riders will be going head-to-head to compete in 3 very special Speed Freaks games. Feeling left out? Never fear, we've opened the competition up to anyone who wants to head down and join us! Aside from yours truly and the XDL gang, we expect to see the faces of quite a few of our local Buzztime players... and we expect them to give those riders a run for their money!

I'll be giving away prizes that that include Buzztime swag and an iPod nano; XDL will be giving away tickets to their Finals on Friday and Saturday; and Redbull will even be throwing in tickets to their Moto GP event. Needless to say, if you're in the area, you'll want to get in on the action.

XDL will also be filming the event -- and Speed Freaks competition -- for their Versus TV docudrama Inside XDL, which will air this Fall. (Pretty cool, huh?)

All-in-all, we're anticipating a fantastic event with some extraordinary people... let's just hope they're as good with a Playmaker as they are with a bike!
